India & Pakistan -- A Rising Threat?
Nuclear weapons are a powerful tool in any country’s arsenal…the United States is the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons against another country…when two massive bombs were dropped on Japan in 1945, during World War II.
Since 1945, many more countries have built nuclear weapons, and there have been over 2000 nuclear bombs exploded as tests. But NO nuclear weapons since WWII have been used against another country...even in wartime.
Two countries in South Asia are nuclear nations – India & Pakistan. So why is the world so very concerned about India & Pakistan’s recent disputes over land?
